Grocery shopping. You either love it or hate it and either way you probably end up spending more at the store than you intend to. Below you'll find 5 ways they TRICK YOU into spending more money!

1. Free Samples - Free samples can be tasty, but they might influence you to buy something you normally wouldn't.

2. Giant shopping carts - This can make you think "My cart isn't THAT full" which could influence you to buy more stuff.

3. They put expensive brands at eye level. - When something is front and center, you're more likely to buy it.

4. They hide the essentials at the back of the store. - Usually bread, milk, eggs, etc. are at the back of the store which means you have to walk by everything else. And that could cause you to pick up things you may not need.

5. Ads that say "10 for $10" - This can cause people to assume that they HAVE to but 10 to get the deal but if you look closer, that's not always the case!

Hope this helps you next time you're at the grocery store! I know I certainly end up buying things I don't always NEED.
